Maybe being bossed about is Ywains kink? Regardless, Marcette is, at the very least, an adult of the opposite sex - so it's the closest of the three outcomes to being a 'success'. While they don't suggest Ywain and Sylphie are a potential match (ew), I don't think taking fashion and love advice from a 14 year old girl can really be considered a win either.

I voted for Rodrigault on all of my characters, and now I don't even get to see his part at all??

Had a feeling Astrid would win. A shame. I went for the blue elf guy. I don't remember any of the other npc names and only remember Astrid's name because I've played another game with a character named Astrid and so the name stuck easier.

I voted for the elf man because I liked him best, but I think we all knew deep in our hearts that the Cute and Funny elf girl would win.

i voted Astrid cause her outfit was more aesthetically pleasing to my eyes then the others were the black/red valentiones outfit looked nicer then the black/blue or the black/yellow i didnt vote based on the characters looks or personality

Assuming it's not some bug that caused the results to be the same on every world, it goes to show how superficial people can be. Instead of voting based on the merits of the idea like we were told to do, they voted based on appearance.

Taking testimonies here and there it seems in general the people who just didn't care/didn't read and just voted for color accounted for more votes than those who did care about what each option entailed.

Not only is Astrid an AWFUL CHOICE. The cutscene advocates that treating your partner like trash is a "Rousing success".

They probably think because its a man getting told hes a useless meathead that shouldn't talk is "funny".

This is not okay, and its not cute. This has turned into my least favorite event I've experienced so far.

I voted for Astrid for pretty much the reasons that were already listed above: I knew her, she's cute and precocious, Rodrigault was too robotic (and I was suspicious of him when he shared that info, like it was a trap), and Bert was written badly and didn't have the hot male-Highlander face.

What they should of done was either have all three emissaries be characters we know or all three be new characters and instead of voting on them and their love/wooing-philosophy, have them go and find the client a potential date and we vote for/side with the emissary we think made the best choice.

This would been way more fun
