-People are not having 'meltdowns' they are giving feedback. Explaining their feedback when questioned on it is also not having a 'meltdown'. Being accused of such is belittling and attempting to invalidate something simply because you could care less. Which is fine, you don't HAVE to care about it. But you also don't NEED to put down anyone in order to express that. If people actually WERE having a meltdown, it would be far more apparent... and the rest of the forum, and the moderators (who are here) would tell them to cool it (or put them in time-out).

I said SOME people are freaking out, I never everyone, I never pointed out names, and I even have said I understand being upset or bummed out how this played out. I also never specified WHERE I’ve seen these comments.

I thought this thread has been a pretty good discussion and analysis of how the event was designed/executed, minus the people coming in to say "it's just a game, why do you enjoy this about it?"

Any feedback by Astrid apologists classifies as a meltdown.

The thing is Bert was the popular choice. Most people here think there was some election interference, because Astrid won on every server. Some people in the know (I can't divulge sources) think it was Garlean bots.

If they wanted to make it even then they should give:

I suggested elsewhere.... but they shouldn't have made the reward color coded if they wanted people to vote off the actual contestants. If the outfit was white to start with, and then you were rewarded dye pots to match your chosen candidate, or the pots were made available to purchase with chocolates after you voted, then that would eliminate aesthetics from the voting equation.
