Square Enix should adopt a curated mod gallery/collection ala Skyrim / Fallout 4

i never understood why that square enix was so against mods. i feel like if they had their own curated mods (while of course maintaining their stance against nsfw mods/copyrighted material), this would help bring together the community.

and as for console users who might cry "not fair!", there could probably be a similar solution that allowed bethesda to bring mods to console

Eh Bethesda mods on skyrim ps4 sucks have you tried it? You have no cbbe hardly any decent races and the enviorment mods are a bit lame along with the housing items so honestly they would have to do better.

the only mod id really want are some of the AB.. mods which in my opinion is still safe for work just might weird out ppl that my friend uses on pc on their kitty character but thats innocent and due to personality that we have lol

However I think people seem to take mods a little to far the reason why alot of people (well atleast myself mod on some games) Are to play in my own thoughts without depending and hoping for the game to finnally add it in.. If i was on pc I would have made a mod that let me walk around with primal Ifirt just to get that good classic summoner feel.

This is why I judge mods on tiers such as
1. Tier one is basicly anything that is appearence related maybe weapon skins/hair/capes and so forth.
2. Immeresion mods Like things that make it feel like you are really there talking to the character.
3. This tier I'm okay telling people no on because this effects direct game play things such as telling you what is coming next and when to use this or that basicly wows flashing skill mod are the one I'm against.

Inconclusion I think alot of people seem to not understand or care about it but there are innocent mods that are more on a personal experience such as appearence and immeression tiers. THen you got game changers which are not innocent mods. Now you may say contest solves the appearence issues or Immersion but thats assuming you win which in my experience leads to so many better looking items to be denyed just because popular vote.

I don't think a person should have to prey and hope that X image on a outfit wins by popular vote lol this is why I support appearence mods because everyone has a diffrent sense of style not everyone likes the same style so popular vote on style is just stupid honestly.



Now As for why I play on ps4 over pc well its simple controll plays bad on pc and I'm not good with keyboard/mouse other wise I would for some of the mods my friend shows me I'm Jelly of her mods I admit it but I keep it to myself and shrug it off because in the end I am on ps4 just the price of playing the game in a way that works best for me personally.
