    Mini interior Market boards

I love how FC houses can look from the inside but no one ever uses the interior due to ALL the benefits being outside. The main benefit being the market board.
I understand SE doesn't want everyone outside to vanish from the local surroundings so I suggest adding different mini markets that only allow you to buy a specific type of stuff so you'd still need to head for the main market for all the other items.
I would suggest using the same system we now use for gardens.
Cottage = 1 mini market board, Medium = 2 mini market boards, Mansion = 3 mini market boards.

Market 1: Crafting material for Armorer/Blacksmith/Goldsmith
Market 2: Crafting materials for Carpenter/Leatherworker/Weaver
Market 3: Crafting materials for Alchemist/Culinarian
    Market 4: Food/Fish bait/Potions/Buffs/Crystals/Materia
    Market 5: Weapons/Armor/Jewelery/Glamour items
    Market 6: Housing&gardening furniture&decorations/Dye's

Without a specific reason why you say no, its pretty much an empty comment without any weight.
Please enlighten me why your reason to disagree is more valid then the suggestion made by me just now.

If I had a mini market board I would never leave my house during crafting sessions! But I would want one single mini board and not have a set broken up into diff shopping departments. I assume there is a reason why they are set up only in major cities and in the wards themselves?

I don't think this is something that would ever happen based on how SE has explained how the game handles data and the marketboards already spread throughout the wards.

But if it was something they were willing to consider, I don't think the idea of having the mini-boards based on crafting type would really work since all crafting, outside of CUL, share material pools. I need cloth and leather to make certain tools and weapons. Leather goods, and cloth to a lesser degree, also incorporate metals and even wood. Most of them rely on things made by ALC. Where would you draw the line at what crafting material belongs to what mini-board?

At that point, I might as well skip having a mini-board in the house and just visit the nearby marketboard in the ward proper since it will list everything I need. I'm also going to need to visit it to check current market prices on items to decide what I want to make to sell next. Adding the mini-boards probably wouldn't make anyone use the FC house more than they already are because of the limitations.

Personally, I'm slightly tired of having different restrictions on the number of a specific item that can be placed based on house size. It's an instanced interior. If a large can hold 4 flowerpots, so should a small. If one size is allowed 3 of the mini-boards, then all sizes should be allowed 3. That's the sort of thing that causes so much drama in the player base because the largest house is also the least accessible but can hold more of the things that players want to have. If small houses could hold just as many, more players would be happier with smalls.

And finally as you said, SE doesn't want to encourage players to hole up inside a house instead of being out in the world helping it to look populated.

If there is concern about use of the FC house, the FC needs to ask itself what it could be doing to encourage use of it. Does the FC have a meeting area and hold meetings/events there? Are the crafting stations set up for members who are leveling DoH? Did the Gold Saucer mini-games get added? Are the vendor NPCs, summoning bell and FC chest set up in convenient places or are they scattered throughout the house, making it more convenient for members to head to a city state? Does everyone get a chance to change the music on the Orchestrion so they can listen to what they like when in the FC house instead of being forced to listen to the same annoying song over and over (and thus never want to go in)?

I agree, especially since smalls are the most plentiful of the plots offered. While the yards are small I would argue that garden beds should also have equal representation here. Keep the same item limits and if you have a small and want 3 beds you can have them but you also have less area to decorate.

I've always wanted less market boards.

When you come into the ward off the boat, there should be a central area. The regular housing vendors, and a couple of market boards. It would be a place for people in the ward to congregate. Just make it so that people can teleport there directly from their house. People complain about wards being ghost towns. This would be a great community area.

I don't think this is going to change much of anything. Wards will still remain ghost towns. Most of the MB action is done in the city-states. I am at my fc's house a lot, and we have a MB right outside and I rarely see anyone there, let alone my neighbors.

I don't either, and I'm always trotting to my MB for various things. Most of the time if I'm doing some serious shopping though I head straight to Limsa so I can server hop with ease.

To the original suggestion, no. That would be a royal headache due to how interconnected crafting is. And who wants to eat 3+ furnishing slots on something that won't give them full MB access? Not this decorator that's for sure. Or any of the other decorators I know. If we're going to have a MB furnishing, let's at least have it give full and simple access without the gyrations you mentioned. Though I don't really think it's necessary. It's easy enough to get to most MB locations.

Personally, I'd rather they put a MB in Eulmore. I'm more irritated by having to port between them and the Crystarium for collectible mats than I am having to run to the MB near my house for something lol.
