Still I find it odd that they can't just install a debugger to automatically load you at the closest location inside where there isn't furniture. There are a lot of games that have that installed to prevent you from getting stuck.
I refer to when housing was first released in 2.1 - since this seems like a very minor issue to me, so I dont mind them taking an easy way out here.
