    FC Login option

Currently everyone automatically starts at the exterior (front door) of the FC house when you log in after a while or when you end a duty but I would love to have an option where I can set exterior to interior, so I would log in directly inside the FC house and also get dropped inside after a duty. When for example I want to craft inside and enjoy the music, I don't like having to go inside again every time a duty ends.

Thats something they actually removed from the game because it caused to much issues, like serverstress and the possibilty that you could get stuck inside of furniture and the like afetr reloading into the house. They wont go back on this.

when you're not inside the house it's effectively despawned. this is why you reappear outside. it only loads in for you when you enter and it goes away when you leave.

Vidu I've been on this game for many years and I never even knew the game could do that. I suppose you refer to the first couple of versions of the game. Still I find it odd that they can't just install a debugger to automatically load you at the closest location inside where there isn't furniture. There are a lot of games that have that installed to prevent you from getting stuck.

I think it may have something to do with how houses aren't permanent fixtures in the game. And by that I mean they can be demolished. The game may not be able to deal with a character whose location essentially no longer exists, which would be the case if they logged out inside a house that has since been demolished.

If you log out in a dungeon you end up wherever you were when the queue popped when you log back in. The game has flagged that location as your character's spawn point, and these points can only be in permanent areas of the game. This is why when you log out inside a house, you are outdoors when you log back in. The house itself isn't a permanent area in the game because it can get demolished, but the garden is always there regardless of whether the plot is in use or not.

It likely also has to do with entry permissions. Sure SE could probably just have you log in inside the house even if it's no longer yours, but then players would complain about strangers entering their house even when their door is locked.

SE could make you want happen but it is potentially a lot of work for very little gain. Instances can be very complicated.

I refer to when housing was first released in 2.1 - since this seems like a very minor issue to me, so I dont mind them taking an easy way out here.

I only suggested this since I was hoping for SE to add something "inviting" inside the FC houses so they wouldn't just stand there empty & barely used.
Everyone parks near the market board cuss there is little advantage to having an FC house at this point. SE should adress that issue one way or another.

If the FC house isn't getting used, having FC members teleport directly into the house instead of to the entrance to the plot isn't going to change anything since they aren't going to the house in the first place.

Housing is player driven content and it's up to players to do things with it. There's nothing for SE to address.

Our FC house gets used a lot. We're not an especially big FC, only about 20 unique active members, but we have members going in and out of the FC house on a daily basis and it gets even busier when we have an event scheduled.

If your FC house isn't getting used, you may want to ask your members what would make it more appealing to use. Or perhaps they're simply the type of players not interested in it. Not everyone cares about housing. It's still not up to SE to make them want to use it.

I like the FC house enough to bother entering again every time.

I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.

You keep repeating its not up to SE but keep in mind that SE earns their living from making sure the community is getting what they want to pay for. I'm merely making this suggestion since I know a lot of people who have similar feelings about what I just voiced. As far as I'm aware we are still customers so I'm just using my basic right to voice my opinion, hoping to support SE in keeping this place great for as much people as possible. I'm sure that SE keeps everything in consideration even if they do not fully agree, it's simple business. Pro or con opinions are not the deciding factor in this matter. The fact is that as you said.. not everyone cares about housing, but that doesn't mean they can't try to make it more appealing since everything appealing is why a subber remains subbed in the first place. I love this game for its FC/community stuff so if SE at some point stated it was not their interest then I wouldn't resub, simple as that. I'm not giving anyone my money that doesn't care for me as a customer and SE as a company knows & understands this. People say SE doesn't read forums etc... but I don't believe that. They simply don't state their opinion since they cannot possibly know in advance that it may be beneficial to future changes, or what people will voice by then (since some people quit while others are new and every community has a different opinion). Still tho, SE if you read this. Keep up the good work!
