I do not understand the sence of that...Who sells that by traders?...
RMT Bots.
That would only affect the selling-to-NPC price, right?https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...753.1424545625

yes, but who sells that to npc. It is worthfull for crafters.
Parsers only encourage toxic behavior in the same way any tool possibly could: it provides an avenue that anyone seeking to be toxic could find alternatives to easily enough. Oh, oops I must be lying to myself and everyoneThe issue with parsers isn’t the usage. I don’t understand why people aren’t exactly clear about. It’s simple. Use it for yourself and your game. Keep talk of it out of the game. Don’t be a jack@$$ and mock and troll people for low dps.
They want to avoid the toxicity that parsers tend to bring to raiding scenes. Period. And if you are one of these people who say “parsers dont encourage toxic behavior.” You’re lying to yourself and everyone else. So they won’t ask whether you use it or not and you don’t tell theres no issue. Simple as can be. They didn’t portray parsers as evil they portrayed triggers as evil. Which they are it’s cheating.
That lawyer tactic of villifying a straw man can away a courtroom, but the truth is neither you nor I have any data to support whether toxicity is in any way specially related to having a parsing tool. I doubt Square has any such data either, due to never having set up a control group in their game of players who would be openly allowed to parse.
What's worse is, if they had a first party parser or better, a modding API released akin to Blizzard where they would have control over what mods could do, we might have avoided a situation like Paisley Park or the visible aoes in the first place.
But no. The line in the sand for whatever reason is "parsing is bad because it causes toxicity because I say it does." Because of that, we end up where we are now, with modders firing up for an arms race against SE that SE won't win, and regular users being the victims in all of it.
I constantly see people selling them on the market board at below the vendor price. A friend of mine makes a fortune regularly by buying off the market board and selling to NPCs.https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...753.1424545625

demimateria prices crashed badly after square ruined desynthesis but I have never seen fieldcraft nowhere near below the npc sell value.
Thats because you dont live in a world where telling someone they arent playing well and should work on getting better is among absolute worst thing you can say or do at any point ever.Personally I never thought of parsers I used in other games I played as an harrassment tool, but rather a means by which to assist our guild/FC to improve.
14s dev team would rather have the single most useful tool in MMO's that have raiding be not a thing than have to acknowledge that the game teaches new players absolutely nothing they need to be competent in their EX and Savage encounters and that a chunk of their playerbase is absolutely awful at something as simple as pressing buttons in the correct order.
Want to optimize your character, or your performance, without using a "3rd party program"? You cant, the game doesnt give you the information you need. The closest you have is relative time you kill a training dummy. Which, hey, isnt even accurate across classes.

I find I can buy stuff off NPC vendors and sell it for 10x the price on the MB. What is shocking is people actually would rather buy off MB than go to an NPC
"The worst foe lies within the self."
I guess the restoration rankings are just going to be a collectable-spamming dumpster fire like I was expecting.
Was hoping they'd have the sense to adopt a quality over quantity system with limited turn-ins daily or some such but I'd think they'd have said something if that was the case.
