Someone said "Sell those Demimateria?" Are they talking about the Clear Demimateria? or the Battle/Field Demimateria too? o.o

Okay, so just the Blue - Fieldcraft Materia is affected.
Clear and Battle remain the same - makes sense.
From reddit but the whole 3rd party statement might not be simply down to "rule 34" mode mods but down to a rather high profile case that popped up a while back

And that is not the only case, I have twitter I have seen a lot of harassment among the community of mods of the FFXIV for stupid things that it seems that these people are more aware of the hairstyle than the state of the game lulFrom reddit but the whole 3rd party statement might not be simply down to "rule 34" mode mods but down to a rather high profile case that popped up a while back

After Arthas or whatever called got banned they seemed to be more aggressive towards Mods and 3rd party tools, to be fair they dont mind if ure using dps meter for the improvement of yourself and your group. But if ure calling out someone else and in a non costrunctive friendly way IT IS harassment and it should be punished. As others stated before ACT helps determine what went wrong in the progression of harder content and people to learn/figure out proper rotations, its an important part of the game, but those that use it to harass will probably get punished and they will deserve it imo. telling someone "hurr durr your dps is trash git gud" isnt constructive nor helpful its toxicity xDFrom reddit but the whole 3rd party statement might not be simply down to "rule 34" mode mods but down to a rather high profile case that popped up a while back

The issue with parsers isn’t the usage. I don’t understand why people aren’t exactly clear about. It’s simple. Use it for yourself and your game. Keep talk of it out of the game. Don’t be a jack@$$ and mock and troll people for low dps.
They want to avoid the toxicity that parsers tend to bring to raiding scenes. Period. And if you are one of these people who say “parsers dont encourage toxic behavior.” You’re lying to yourself and everyone else. So they won’t ask whether you use it or not and you don’t tell theres no issue. Simple as can be. They didn’t portray parsers as evil they portrayed triggers as evil. Which they are it’s cheating.

I notice he just used an example of one pluggin/trigger their are others not just markers. I'm surprised they just realized this they might want take a look under the hood abit more often. Not against DPS meter but where trigger/plugging are concern they might want to check out that some more. Imo

The plugins he was concerned about were the ones that inject client data to the program. The waymark plugin injected client data. A lot of plugins or triggers are just read data, which is completely different. https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...k_preset_tool/I notice he just used an example of one pluggin/trigger their are others not just markers. Take a look a the most upvoted comment that absolutely stated the danger despite said tool is being benign in its use.
