Is there any Garlean Lalafells

I don't remember seeing any during msq or job quests etc, I could have overlooked em but was curious.

Seeing as how the Garlean Soldiers didnt look twice at Wedge around the level 45 ish MSQ, when our pc, he, and biggs were dressed as Garlean Soldiers to Rescue Minfillia, Urianger and Papylymo, I would dare hazard a guess that if they aren't in the actual main city then yes there were some that were in the other nations when the Garleans annexed them.

Actually now thinking about it Wedge himself is technically fro Garlemald as he was with CID and Biggs when they left the Empire and created the Iron Works in Eorzea so yes Lalafells are in Garlemald. Now if you're talking about pure blooded Garleans then I highly doubt one would be a Lalafell.

Wedge is technically Garlean, even though he defected. You also find lalafell sized garlean uniforms in Doma for that one mission. I seem to remember there being a few lalafell grunt soldiers too but im not 100% on that

There are no pure-blood garlean lalafels, but plenty of non-pure garlean lalafels and conscripts how else you get uniforms from them twice :P oh and Wedge too.

Put all of the above together and that's the best answer you can get! The Garlean Empire has many Lalafellin citizens in it. Pureblood Garleans, however, are themselves a race. These Lalafell are conscripts or were from nations conquered at some point. You won't find one with a third eye.

Professor Moose summed it up best: pureblood Garleans are a race that mostly takes after hyur physically*, but they also have plenty of other races as conscripted troops and subject citizens. 1.0 in fact actually had plenty of lalafell Garlean soldiers the player had to fight (along with Garlean soldiers of other races too), but unfortunately ARR now just seems to have standardized them into just regular hyur and elezen troops mostly, with the occassional representative of another race (like that miqo'te soldier in Azys Lla that just wants to play Triple Triad ).

*Of course Nael van Darnus and his younger sister seemed to be an exception to that, having elezen physical features yet still having the pureblood 'third eye'. But then House Darnus evidentally dated back to the Allag so... make your own theories on that one.

It's more complex than that. Their ears are like Hyuran rather than Elezen ears, but beyond that it's a fairly even mix of the two.

Some Garlean characters use Hyuran models, but it's also common for them to use Elezen models: eg. Nero, Gaius, Livia, Lucia, Regula and Maxima; also Emet-Selch. They all need custom face models to add the third eye anyway, so the custom ear shape would be part of that, and the Garlean armour or other custom clothing hides how spindly they are.

There's a Lalafell conscript in one of the Yanxia MSQs for the sake of providing an appropriately-sized outfit (Or inappropriately-sized if you want a giggle from the dialogue you get from trying to wear it as a non-Lala) to steal and disguise yourself with.

Outside of that, I can't recall any.

There's at least two Lalafell Garleans in Stormblood. The aforementioned one in Yanxia, and I believe there's another during an early Gyr Abania section.

Lalafell soldiers working for the Garlean Empire appear in the following duties:

1. The level 46 solo quest where you rescue the captured Scions in Mor Dhona.
2. The level 59 quest where you first meet Regula at Azys Lla.
3. The level 69 quest where you go inside the Ala Mhigan quarter at the Lochs.
4. The level 70 quest where you prevent the Garleans from taking back Tsuyu at The Ruby Sea.

I might be missing a few more.
