I'm very disturbed by the trend in FF14 that is turning this game into a single player game. One of the worst culprits is the Trust system that basically takes away the need to interact with people at all. Have we grown so narcissistic as a society that we must have the instances all to ourselves? Have we grown so narcissistic that we won't even entertain the option of playing with other people?
Trust system is not mandatory to use, it's in the game as a option to the players to use it if they enjoy doing the content by themselves. Some people enjoy playing the game by themselves and that's perfectly fine. I actually used the trust system when it first came out for the shadowbringer dungeons, the npc's actually do mechanics which is even better and they have their own conversations which feels even better.
