    Random 90001 and 90002 errors

    Hello,

    For a very long time I have been experiencing random disconects.

    I have made a tracert and this are the results.

    When exactly did this start happening? Did you notice any change in your home network that coincides with this?

    What have you tried so far in order to alleviate the issue?

    I don't remember exactly when the issues started but today it has been happening every hour or so. From your experience do you think it's a local problem or do you need any other information besides tracert?

    Good afternoon and thank you for the reply.

    Are you connected to your network through Ethernet cable or WiFi? Additionally as there could be a variety of reasons why you could be disconnected, so it could be hard to pinpoint whether or not it is a local problem.

    I am connected through ethernet cable. I have followed the suggestions from other posts I found on SE forums with the same problem as mine. I have opened the right ports on my router and changed my IE settings but the issue still persists. I have made another tracert and you can clearly see there is a packet loss on hop 7.

    Have you attempted to restart your router? Does your router have any settings that might block applications or throttle your connection?

    Make sure your anti-virus has the proper exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV. This includes the install folder and the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV).
