DirectX 11 fatal error 11000002

Hello,

So, one more player having trouble with the DirectX 11 fatal error 11000002. It happens a couple of minutes after logging in and it doesn't matter if it's the open world or an instance.
I first had the problem a couple of months ago, but at the time it seemed that disabling shader caches within the Nvidia control panel fixed the issue, but that's not the case anymore. It seems like it happened after updating said driver, but now even if I install an older version it still crashes.

I've tried

Updating the video card drivers
Tweaking video card settings
Clearing the cookies on Chrome
Running in windowed, borderless windowed and full screen, as well as different resolutions
Capping the framerate (even though it runs around 50 anyway)
Uncapping the framerate
Removing overlays

It's unplayable and I have no idea of how to fix it anymore.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

I noticed that your graphics card drivers are a little out of date and newer patches are going to utilize newer driver versions. Please perform a clean reinstall of the latest graphics card drivers (even if this has been done before).

The other thing I would suggest is reinstalling the game as well as deleting locally saved content (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV).

There's no newer update available for me so I just did a clean install of the graphics card drive. I tried reinstalling the game and it didn't help either.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? I would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs.
3) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
4) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)

Hello,
it seems like it was an overheating problem, for no apparent reason my GPU fans weren't going over 29% power when set to "auto". I put it on 100% manually and as of right now it seems like the problem is solved.
