    myself would love 2 things

    1 : a kind of "field" for chocobos at the house (FC or private) where we could see all of our chocobo roaming (shared friends, or FC ), and see the chocobo jsut do hes things when hes not with us (seeing him sleeping, eating, or even playing with others FC chocobo) would be kinda sweet

    2: noticed that the street at the housing location are kinda "empty", and with friends we were joking (half?) about how sweet it would be to have or servant to be able to "patrol" the street (players choose which one)
    would be so sweet just to go check on a friends house, and just see your servant outside roaming the street (players owned house /FC in said area would be only 1 allowed to assign said servant in said area)

    3: its again with housing (pls dont hit me ...), with my "2nD" idea in mind a kind of "besieged" type thing from beastmen (bit like ff11 thingy but slitghly different) on the housing wards, where defending NPCs (ofc with players) would be actual servant assigned to "patrol", in case of victory could add a "tempo reduced tax" or opposite case of defeat (or anything else doesnt matter) would be kind of nice

    just to make housing slightly more fun

    Definitely a WoW Mythic+ type system for dungeons. I know Enix like to be different (see Vermillion compared to WoW's pet battles) but Mythic+ worked well when first introduced and why change what works?

    Yoshi stated that they didn't want to do Mythic+ because it would be "stressful for the healer", since the healer dying is pretty much a wipe without a rez class. As a healer main, I'd love it though. The healer forums are full of posts practically begging for something to heal and more engaging gameplay. Bring it on.

    Some random QoL changes which are not too hard to implement:

    A direct link to lodestone profile when you examine a character.
    No duty finder matching with blacklisted people.
    Mounting possible when engaged/aggroed in battle in overworld areas.
    Commendations to anyone in 24-man raids, not just to your 7 party members.
    I want to see who tries to vote abandon or dismiss, it shouldn't be anonymous.
    The 3rd/4th active FC action.

    Better use of the open world. Maps feel soulless and just kinda exist.

    Healing mechanics that are more about actual healing (triage, more resource management) and less about finding ways to not heal and dps instead.

    Marker presets (out of combat use only if needed to prevent abuse). Allow you to make configurations of marker layouts so you can place more than one at the same time. Having to place them one at a time while EX/Savage farming before pulling or choosing spots quickly becomes a chore.

    Pass all function that automatically passes all loot you can't even roll on anyways. (i.e. Automatically passes all loot you are weekly locked out of)

    That was my question exactly, for you.

    My delineation, as described above: Things should be kept unique when the benefits to the expressing the unique race or particular gender, due to fit and flavor, exceed the benefits to player expression that would come from sharing them.

    Race: The expression of what is unique to the race is fitting and illustrative while the benefit to player expression for sharing these emotes across all races is comparatively small, so they should be kept unique.
    Benefit to expressing race is, say, a 7, while the useful benefit to player for sharing them would be like a... 3. 7 > 3 --> Keep separate.
    Gender (Idle and weapon pose): The expression of what is unique to the gender is neither particularly fitting nor uniquely illustrative while the benefit to player expression for sharing those emotes across both genders allows for a wider, but not excessive, and useful breadth of expression, so they should be shared.
    Benefit to expressing gender is, say, a 3, while I'd judge the addition of idle and weapon poses of the opposite gender, since they're all basically gender-less, and simply convey slightly different personalities, would be a... 6? 6 > 3, so...
    That criteria may seem vague, but I'm not trying to obscure them. I just wondered why your own demarcation was so absolute (uniqueness trumps all), rather than weighed (sometimes one is better than the other, based on X and Y).

    • A menu system that's a whole lot less clunky and irritating
    • More customization options in general... and a better customization system to go with it (like, separating features from faces for starters, and allowing more than one facial feature at a time)
    • Tattoos
    • Scars
    • Vertical furniture moving
    • Bigger apartments
    • Outdoor space in apartments
    • Lofts that hold more than just tabletop items without glitching
    • Gear preview of more than just racial and job gear in the character creator
    • Better lighting options in the character creator
    • Combat voice preview in the character creator
    • In game damage meter of some kind (I like someone else's suggestion of comparative scores viewable at the end of dungeons)
    • Face slot for glasses
    • Trophies/achievement furniture
    • Glamour separated by job so I can have different glamours on the same gear (could be passably accomplished by making glamour plates... better. Letting us use them outside of cities, for one)
    • Being able to join parties when you have menus and stuff open
