    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Have you tried disabling all unnecessary programs/remove all active overlays? This will prevent any other apps/programs from interfering with the game. I would also like to recommend making sure that any anti-virus software running has the appropriate exceptions as this can cause the game to not operate properly. If these do not resolve the issue, please uninstall and reinstall the game including deleting the locally saved data before reinstalling.
