Bahamut Turn 9 solo help

I know it's not game breaking or anything but I was trying to solo Nael for giggles when I kept hitting a brick wall in last phase. As a Gunbreaker with about 170k hp I get hit for about 240k when the Icebitten mechanic comes into play which means I last till the second cast unless I superbolide and even then just die immediately after. Firescrorched doesn't seem to happen fast enough and even if it did hit once it would only buy me a few seconds. Baffled on what to do I watched a video of a Redmage with 90k hp doing it and it seemed like the mechanic didn't even cast it till they were close to dead, well after that phase had begun. Is there something I'm missing or is my dps just too low?

You simply have to save your buffs to burn the fight between ice attacks.

Getting hit twice with the frostbite debuff deals something like 150% of your max HP, so it's an unavoidable death if you can't do a specific HP% push to burn her successfully in between the dragons coming out and the second ice tick hitting you.

That's why the red mage was successful- holding cooldowns there and performing your burst as soon as her HP% pushes into the dragon phase is necessary for success. Casters are best at this, I think I saw a Summoner do it in 4.5 and a Black Mage in 5.05?

Firescrorched doesn't seem to happen fast enough and even if it did hit once it would only buy me a few seconds.

The fire and ice dragons are in 1:4 resonance. This is why the mechanic is most simple in a party of four: the fire dragon's attack cleanses everyone of ice just before anyone would get hit a second time, so everyone should just stay stacked for every fire attack. In a full party, this resonance means that everyone only needs to be hit by every other fire attack if all 8 party members are alive.

It also means you need to do as much damage as you can to win before you get hit by a second ice attack.

Icebitten is applied about every two seconds from after phase 4 starts at 47% once the pillar falls and Nael does her 5 hit strike then dragons show up for elemental hits. After a while they will stop to divebomb but I don't know if that's triggered by a health %. The lowest I've gotten her is 18% and that's with being invulnerable once I get the status and just burning her. As soon as the dragons show up I basically have 8-10 seconds to kill her unless I can force a divebomb phase so I'm either dpsing too hard to bypass that phase and going back into dragons pew pewing or I can't force a them to divebomb and I lack the damage.
