That is actually an awesome idea lol. Imagine if each job DID have such an alignment, and playing it automatically made a difference for you out in the world. As a Pally you would be above reproach and you would automatically get access to all the rescue kittens from trees type quests. There would be automatic doubt on your guilt for anything you did or was blamed on you, and the npcs would be friendlier and less hostile from the start.

Of course, the downside is that you're automatically assumed to be a leader and example and any screw ups would tarnish that reputation of yours more harshly. If you were something chaotic or neutral on the other hand, you'd have to work your way up a little more and spend more time proving yourself, but people would also be more forgiving to mistakes.

Though, personally, I'd rather assign that to characters than to jobs. Make those completely neutral. I would be very quick to make my main Chaotic Good while my alt is probably a good case for Neutral or Neutral Good. It would be a lot of fun if there were in-game consequences for your alignment in terms of reputation. Or maybe actual conflict because of it. That's probably delving a little too deeply into D&D territory though lol.
