Proposal for new Ultimate Raid: Let the Nier team do it!

They have tried to kill us, to varying degrees success in their new raids... So why don't we let them finish the job in a Nier themed Ultimate fight? They could even have somebody choose to sacrifice their weekly loot chance to spawn the chests at the end of the battle!

That would be a bit odd considering ultimates so far have been already existing 8 man raid content reimagined. There's no 8 man Nier content.

I'm not against the idea. I just think it would be a bit weird to use non 8 man content as the template for an ultimate fight.

It could be cool. But I can see the concept having mixed reactions.

No thanks, ultimate has a pattern and I don't want to encourage the idea of crossovers by breaking formula just for Nier. Nier isn't special and should be kept within the 24man formula where crossovers are normal.

Keep ultimate as ultimate and give people what they want (Warring triad, thordan, Omega + Shinryu, 4 lords, Garlean generals etc.)

I played NieR after I did the raid. I really loved the game, but I don't think you should abuse it. It's like FFXV: doing and seeing too much would end up giving it a really bad impression. This crossover for raids is already huge. Let's stop here.

Moreover, what would become FFXIV if the game begins to base all of its content on crossover?

The Nier raid is probably the worst 24-men raid in the game and amounts to little more than fanservice, I don't see why using another game the has nothing to do with ffxiv both from a lore and from a gameplay point of view as a reference for the pinnacle of this game's battle content would be a good idea.

The next ultomate probanly in work that makes sense , should be either Shinryu or Omega, or both together in a kind of interesting triangle fight maybe

Omega had enough time to study as male n female us to come up with a new way to defeat us and shinryu

Nier content is terrible in every aspect. Such a missed opportunity on providing additional lore, unlike it's predecessors.
