Nor does it qualify you to be more familiar with AoE mechanics or make you more qualfied to deem how they need to be changed.
Wow...I think we are talking about two separate ideas altogether. From what I am seeing in your posts you are under the impression that the request is for AoE spells to be made as a "ground target" attack. The post is simply asking for AoE spells to continue casting on the given target even after the target has died.

And no, I am not devaluing you as a person for having not completed the dungeon - I am devaluing your opinion because the request has been to accommodate situations which you have not completed successfully, therefore, your actual first-hand experience with the topic may be limited.

Also, I wouldn't be so inclined to point all this out had you not made an inflammatory statement which insinuates your very accusation that "you're doing it wrong, practice more - I'm better." Believe me, results are a fairly reasonable (although not the most important) indicator of whether or not something is being done "right." Maybe it was not your intention to communicate this but that is how it was presented.
