Macbook Pro trackpad tap to click issues

    Hi!

I play this game on a macbook pro with the trackpad

I noticed that the game does not interpret taps (when the tap-to-click option is selected) correctly! I'm not sure exactly what is happening but it seems to require 2+n taps for certain actions

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Have there been any updates or changes to the device? What are the actions that require multiple taps? Do they happen in certain scenarios? Does the same issue occur when a mouse is used? Can you provide the system specifications along with any trouble shooting previously attempted?

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

I am quite certain that this is an actual bug and not a technical support issue (please see: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...To-Click-Issue)

Clicking on almost anything requires 2 or more taps, tapping once puts the mouse into drag mode. I am not sure if it is worth fixing since most people use a mouse. I have started to contact other people on osx to see if they can reproduce the problem
