Welp... once upon a decade, for a change, male characters actually got a very good set, finally.
The body is absolutely sunning and I will certainly use it, pants are finally long enough to not show naked ankles as other classic pants in the game do, and shoes with gloves are very nice too. Not a big fan of the hat, but it's not bad as well.
The only issue is... why genderlock again. I mean sets are cute, I like them, but just why.

nope, that 2b outfit only happenned because the nier guy thought it looked weird and funny on males.

That's not only about 2B set, though. Yoshida said in the interview a little bit after ShB release that they plan to unlock Eternal Bonding suit and dress, for example, probably along with some other items.

I'm not even opening the box since I have nowhere to put it after. Not really wasting dresser slots on something I won't wear.

Correct it is not over as we are still waiting for the voting results and other quests associated with that.

I really hate the gender-locking, not just for wearing but also for aquistion.
I find the female outfit awful in all its components and there'd no way I'd ever use, but I love the male one, and honestly it would have been perfect to glamour Khai-shirr with.

I'll just vote for whoever I like the ideas of the most and then shove the outfit in the armoire.

I also don't care for the chocolate fountains. And there aren't even mini-games so eh.

On the official event page/lodestone, it says you'll be given the outfit gender matching your character's gender, and that you're only able to aquire one.
So I imagine if you want the other gender you have to spend cash next year.
