    I actually had the same problem the same day the server merged and got back online. We did Ifrit and wiped, I was on WHM and the same happened to me. As I started casting and got a plume, I ran just as usual, but spell wouldn't cancel and I got ani-locked and died. This went like that all the time, I assumed it was server lag cause of the merge...

    It happens once the casting bar goes beyond 50%. Have tested this thoroughly on my char.
