If you have trouble comprehanding bikini clad tanks, you are gonna have a trip when you see someone in full shisui fending gear... which is indeed meant to be a tank gear.

As for the OP's topic; it's absolutely legitimate to want something that will display unglamoured or AF sets rather than glamour on your client. Seeing some of the glamours out there, there are times when I would like to not see them. That being said, the game is heavily designed around the anime aesthetic where characters often go into intense combat in less-than protective gear. The best we can do is accept the aesthetic of the game and respect other player's choice to glamour how they want. Creating an option like you're requesting would take developer resources, and with the team's significant support of glamour it's unlikely to happen.

This whole discussion is just stupid. My characters looks just how I want them to look like and I don't want them look differently to other people. It's my decision and mine alone. You should see them how I want you to see them and you shouldn't be able to change my hair, glamour or whatever just because you don't like it.

You have the option to look away. You don't need to run the dungeon with bikini-au'ra and the nier-catgirl. Just leave and run it with people who are dressed more to your liking.

One could make the argument that you're being far more egotistical in wanting to remove a glamour someone may be proud of, be it sl*tty, bad*ss, cool, comfy, or what have you, just because you don't want to see a gimmick tank in a bikini. One could also make the argument that you're being more of a drama diva by posting such a dismissive and condescending reply. You have a very warped idea of freedom of self expression when your entire idea of helping that is to remove other's ability to do. People, not all, but a very large number, base their characters, both in RP and how they socialize, based on bow they look in game. Remove that, even as an option, and you lose that self-expression, and you're advocating this because some tank had a joke banana hammock on.

Somehow we got a glamour thread that has turned into the entire real world debate about women being allowed/able to wear whatever they want and not be targeted/attacked by men or judged. Literally!

"I should be able to wear whatever glamour I want. It's my decision and not yours. If you don't like it, look away." = "I should be able to wear whatever clothing I want. It's my decision and not yours. If you don't like it, look away."

"I shouldn't have to look at your glamour because it's not 'immersive' or 'lore appropriate! I should have the option to turn it off no matter what you say or feel about it!" = "I don't want to see the 'immodest' things you wear! You must conform to my ideas of modesty and classy no matter what you say or feel about it!"

This was NOT what I was expecting to find on a glamour thread of all things lol!

Incidentally, I'm with the first group on this. I glam my character the way I do because that's who she is. I don't particularly care if you like it or not, and if you don't I'm not forcing you to stand there and stare at me. Kindly move along to scenery you like better. The game is full of it.
