Castrum Fluminis is way too difficult

I know this will upset the hardcore video game players in the game but this fight is way too difficult, and is a huge gate in the MSQ. Have developers considered nerfing the fight? The instant death mechanic from the half moons is very unforgiving and is an extreme steep curve in difficulty compared to the other fights you've done. Shinryu and Yotsuyu are just such a sudden jump in difficulty that if your healers are both new to the game you'll be stuck in that fight for two hours. I hope the developers will nerf them (give 50% echo right away maybe?)

Or, you can play it, learn it and overcome it?

Do you mean the debuff which tells you on which side (light or darkness) you need to stay? How is this extremly difficult? Just watch the symbol and change sides according to the buff. You also have time until it slowly counts up to 5 before you die and it resets each time you step on the right side.

Seriously, just keep an eye on the symbol and stay near the line so you can switch sides as often as necessary. Best to do it as soon as the number reachs 2, or so. Don't wait until it's 4.

Right. It may seem slow to you, but it's not slow when you're new and struggling to do your rotations. Most new players struggle to do rotations and tunnel since there are so many buttons to press.

It's a level 70 trial. Training wheels are off by now. You are not new anymore and you really should know your rotation. If not, practice it at a dummy until you don't struggle doing it anymore.

Hitting striking dummies for hours is not what I subbed to this game for. This community is way too hardcore

Please, nail from Ifrit NM causes more wipes than Tsukuyomi.

Ignore dps rotations when stuff is happening fast and focus on survival. Spot where the fans start, you can stand one spot counter-clockwise of that and then go center before that last fan pops. Everything in there is visible ground effects or a stack you can see over your head, so shouldn't be a big issue unless connecting from Australia. Also, you get Echo stacks, up to 50% now, after wipes.
