Looking for an alternate RP server

Due to Balmung and Mateus being congested, I am looking for an alternate RP server to create a new character on.
Any NA data center would work. Preferably a server that is moderate to moderate-high in population (I don't really like running around an empty world).
Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

I have read somewhere that Siren, Faerie, and Jenova have RP communities. Anyone from one of these servers care to weigh in?

With the world visit system you can create a character on some other server in the Crystal datacenter, and then visit Balmung or Mateus for RP.

Thank you for your response...however, i fear it will be the go-to, rote response whenever someone brings up the same or similar topic I have...

That being said, assuming one does not wish to constantly move between different servers just to role-play, which other servers, among the 3 NA data centers, can one find a significant/established RP community? (Not including Balmung or Mateus).

I was able to make a character on Mateus (my forum avatar). I guess I can try RP on Mateus. I am relatively new to RP, so maybe seeing a lot of ERPing was just a bit intimidating... (I am not interested in this, however if a relationship forms over time, then that is okay)
Are there many RPers on who do not prefer ERP?
Maybe its my odd schedule - Late evening to early morning hours (atm) PST.
I can try Light to Heavy RP.

Crystal is the primary RP server from what I've seen, so what I'd recommend is world visiting each one (or watch the PF) and take a look at the RP events that take place on each one and see which one works for you.


I reside on Goblin, and have seen a fair bit of it on Goblin, but mileage may vary depending on the person.

I will take the long route and select a number of servers to see if I find an RP friendly one!
I will also try Mateus at a different time than I usually log in, maybe I can find a good FC/LS there that I can call home.

No other server. You can probably find small RP communities on most servers, but significant ones can only be found on Balmung, Mateus, and Omega (for EU players).

While I'm not an RPer myself, to the best of my knowledge, this is the most definitive website for FF14 RPers. There may be people there that can also help you find smaller RP communities, outside of the big trinity.
