    Were any updates or changes made to the PC that coincide with this? If Youtube is not running, does this lock still occur?

    This issue does not occur when Youtube is not playing. I typically use Firefox as my brower of choice. The only change I can think of was the forced update of the game launcher.

    This issue also just occurred with another game (Rimworld), so it looks like an issue with my system, rather than FF14.
