No... I spend 3K on a hobby that I really enjoy. I dont only play games on my computer. I saved up and built it. I am not showing off at all or else I could of spent 10k building a computer. If you dont have anything good to add to the thread please dont.

I was also wondering about how the game runs on high-end machines. I'm particularly interested about how it runs for that guy using an intel SSD. I find that slowdowns related to loading dynamic content are really annoying to me. It happens quite a lot on my current machine with XIV, and it seems to also on your machine. I'm wondering if this is a function of the video drivers, so if anyone with a radeon card could add a comment...

Loading slowdown also happens on XI with my current machine, but it only causes maybe 100ms pauses. On my previous athlonXP machine with a radeon 9800, there were no loading-related slowdowns. I was very disappointed to see that model loading causes whole-second pauses on the Playstation2 version of XI.

lol thanks for the caps.. but yeah it really doesnt hurt :P I actually really enjoy it. Considering the stuff I was into for years, it was a welcome change to spend my money on something that wont kill me. I was more or less shocked to why you said that thats all. Besides I worked for 2 months and saved up and bought it.. you make it sound like I bought a rocket ship.. its only 3k lol..

If he was really trying trying to brag, he'd be talking about an i7-990x running at 6+GHz with triple-SLI GTX580. The GTX570 and i7-2600k aren't top-of-the-line, ya know! :P

Exactly.... Me and my LS mates love talking about FFXIV and our Rigs, and we talk a lot about how our rigs run FFXIV. My buddy is having an issue with his 5870, so I was hoping to get a few replies of that so I could help him out. We really do love talking about or rigs... my friend has 3 5870's setup, he is selling them for a 6990. I might try and tell him to wait for the GTX 590

card:Geforce GT 430 superclocked
At pretty high settings runs very well, 3k benchmark. Man *drool* I7 rigs own =/

Get a cooler and OC that chip of yours.. its had an easy life for too long :P
