Screen Flickering & Loss of Signal in Client

I have been experiencing screen flickering and loss of signal to my monitor when I launch the FF14 client. Everything displays fine until the moment I open the FF14 client and then I will lose signal so quickly and often that it's difficult to even get the game launched sometimes. Once I am able to get into the game, the screen flickering and signal loss goes away.

I am using a single 2560x1440 monitor @164 hz; I have gsync compatibility mode enabled, it is a freesync monitor. So far I've upgraded the drivers for the monitor and for my 1070 ti video card. I did recently upgrade to this monitor but it performs fine until I open the FF14 client, and then it starts flickering like crazy and usually loses signal almost instantly. Any help or advise would be appreciated

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

How long have you been experiencing this issue? Additionally, were any changes or updates made to the PC? Could you also provide a system report?
Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
