Think twice before you request crazy things from the devs

Everyone knows by this point that we're getting one less dungeon every patch. But the reason why is because some people requested the umbrella mount on the forums. Nothing is free, the devs can't just answer every request bc they need to go home and see their family... They don't work 24/7. So they HAVE to give up working on something to answer requests. But it turns out that the umbrella is the camel that broke the straw's back. I'm not saying it's just the umbrella but requests like the umbrella adds up!!! So now we have one less dungeon. But we have umbrellas.... Hope u r happy... But pls think twice before requesting crazy things from the devs next time. They may cut ur favorite content to make enough time to answer ur request. It may be dungeon this time and next time they may cut msq

1. FF14 has alot of dungeons
2. They are able to devote more time to adding MORE to each patch besides dungeons.
3. Really, do we need more than 1 dungeon a patch if we can get trials, stories, and other content and fixes and changes each patch too?

I told u the umbrella is the camel that broke the straw's back meaning it's not just the umbrella. It's like 20 requests that are like the umbrella, like roegadyn mounts.... These requests add up. Maybe one person requesting crazily won't affect anything but 20 people will cause something to be dropped. I did some research on this.

Amount of max level dungeons only counts. This game has the worst level sync in all mmorpgs, so most people want to do lvl 80 dungeons, and not low level dungeons with handicapped jobs.
And despite removing 1 dungeon we don't actually get more content. Whole ShB has the biggest content drought so far. And don't even try to explain it with corona, yoshi said they are at 90% of usual "development power", so we shouldn't be getting 50% less content.

Either way, I'd still rather them add content people want, rather than force in two dungeons. So, I still see it as a win that they listen to the community and what they want to see.

That's what ppl said before they cut dungeons... They'll keep cutting and more ppl will request crazy mounts and this will bcome a mount gpose rp game one day
