I've probably only played around 40 - 50 hours of PvP as a PLD, but I've played enough to know that Healers are the true "tanks" of the team. A healer can just stand there soaking hits from multiple players who barely make a dent in their health, constantly healing to full if they need. As a tank, I have Hallowed as an Oh Shiz button, on a very long cooldown while I swat at people with a foam sword. If my Oh Shiz button is spent, I melt. Sometimes I think the only utility I bring to the team is my ability to dash > Stun targets. Lots of other Jobs have that though.
