    PLD and WAR have an "invuln"... why not DRK and GNB?

    PLD gets hallowed ground for a bit

    WAR gets a pull/bind/cant-die-passed-0 ability

    GNB gets a mini HoT

    DRK gets a relatively easy to burst shield that requires mana

    If tanks are supposed to be tanks, why do GNB and DRK have such little to survive/sustain with? you can argue DRK's silence ad GNB's damage balance that but if they're tanks then shouldn't they get that nerfed a lil and be more about absorbing hits to lead the party?

    I'm so confused, drk doesn't have silence anymore afaik and we don't have superbolide and living dead in PvP.

    I think this was in the tank forum initially and moved to PvP after. I could be wrong.

    On the general topic of tank survivability in PvP, it feels like Rampart is mandatory right now and the personal defensive tools are pretty spotty, namely Nascent Flash not really having a design that works with PvP. It could be tempting to asking for more tank HP or more tank survivability in general, but I think what really happened here is they increased HP for most of the roster in a single patch, while giving more potions to much of them, so the difference between tank survivability VS the rest of the roles is diminished with absolutely nothing given to tanks in return. I'd love for the healer HP buff to be reverted and medkits to be taken out of The Feast completely, while also scaling back some of the damage outliers.

    Wars invuln is meh. Wish nf didnt have a target requirement.

    Dark and gnb got shields which are better than invuln anyway.

    I've probably only played around 40 - 50 hours of PvP as a PLD, but I've played enough to know that Healers are the true "tanks" of the team. A healer can just stand there soaking hits from multiple players who barely make a dent in their health, constantly healing to full if they need. As a tank, I have Hallowed as an Oh Shiz button, on a very long cooldown while I swat at people with a foam sword. If my Oh Shiz button is spent, I melt. Sometimes I think the only utility I bring to the team is my ability to dash > Stun targets. Lots of other Jobs have that though.

    Nah this was for pvp. And yeah I feel as though rampart is a must have no matter what you want to be doing with your tank.

    Never said DRK or GNB have their invulns. I said why don't they?

    Also they're right, forgot they changed the silence changed to a reduced healing debuff.
