Market Wards Issue

With the increase of players in the new servers the merchant wards are now overflowing with items and the issue is that only the 20 most cheapest items only show up. What of the melded gear that's very expensive and +1 items/gear that don't show up at the "Search Counter" because there are so much cheap priced armor taking those spots already. Lets be honest.. no one actually goes inside the wards to search for items. Only reason they go is to put in items in retainers to sell. What i'm trying to get at is that people are going to have a HARD time selling melded gear and +1 items. What I think a solution is a Filter to the Search Counter that lists 20 most expensive, 20 most cheap, 20 items with HQ... just a thought.

Yeah this is pretty annoying, I have so many items not visible by the Search Counter and it's not like im going to lower my x2 Melded sentinel's belt to a way lower price just so it can be seen..

I suggest they make 10 lowest NQ items and 10 lowest HQ items.

Shouldn't be hard to split the window up like that.

Anything as long a people get an equal chance to sell their high quality items in terms of +1 and Melded gear.

Yeah I'm sure they'll get around to fixing this eventually, but for now we will have to deal with it as is. Just let a bazaar hold your hq items for sale and its very possible they could get bought. No you can't flip them like you can NQ ore by doing quick undercuts, but considering how expensive hq items can be its well worth waiting a day or two for a batch to sell.

I mean a stack of HQ electrum is like 5mil... even if it took a week, 5 mil a week is not a bad salary.

With everyone (still!) pretty much only spending time in Ul'dah you could also try shouting whenever you happen to be in town to sell melds/hq. Items with multiple listings each day may never drop to a small enough pile to show your +1, I'm sure they will fix this eventually, but til then we'll have to make due. There've been many threads about this already.

would be interesting if the wards of limsa or gridania turn into an HQ ward because of this, wouldn't be a bad idea actually.
