Secret Egg Combos~! (Hatching-Tide Event)

When I tried to do the Vibrant Egg Ring combination again I got an Odd Egg. Trying to do the Brilliant Egg Ring combination again and I got 10 Apple Tarts.

Pristine Ring Again gave me 10 Ginger Cookies.

I tried to do the eggs quest, but collecting the eggs was very hard. I went to the Nanawa Mines, but I got killed by one of the mobs on my way to Ziggy. ;_;

Is there a way for low levelled to finish this seasonal event?

Okay, so I've noticed Jacien's list from last year to be correct, except for the regular Archon eggs. I haven't tried in La Noscea, but neither of the spots in Thanalan or the Black Shroud had Shuffling Spriggans.

I ended up getting the "wild card" egg for that ring, but if anyone has info on where the Shuffling Spriggans are now, it'd be useful to have.

Ziggy is located at 23-26 west of Black Brush (It's not in Nanawa, that was last year's location)

Also; No news on chocobo egg cap? Missed out on it last year due to laziness so hoping I can get it.

So whenever you do Fancy, 2x Regular, 1x Regular, 1x Regular, 1x Regular you will always get an Odd Egg with the exception of the Vibrant Egg Ring combination (but if you already have it, you get an Odd Egg).

This might be true for the others.

Figured it out. So if you give them combinations like these, then you get the following items. If you repeat an Egg Ring combination but you already have it, you'll be given the stated item.

10 Ginger Cookies (Base: Pristine Egg Ring)

Odd Egg (Base: Vibrant Egg Ring)
- Fancy
- 2x Color A
- 1x Color B
- 1x Color C

I'm wondering what the Spriggan next to the NPCs mean when they say things when u talk to them...one day it said something about horizon cave, and the next day it said drybone cave.

Day doesnt matter. you keep talking to him, he'll tell you the locations of each fancy egg in the region, at random, even the generic one. In Thanalan he calls the generic fancy egg "Ziggy Egg"
