It's always appeared to me that my character gives a slight cocked eyebrow. With the response it gets I interpreted it as WOL giving silent sass. That said I do miss the dialogue options. Even if it made no difference it gave a better feel of confrontation between hero and villain.

I do MSQ roulette every day, it's a nice source of experience or a lazy way to rack up tomes. I still think making it a solo or trust dungeon is the best choice for the game as a whole.

As it is now it's still a bit clunky. The fact that a new player is in there with several high geared players means bosses fold easily which reduces the spectacle. Plus the cutscenes differ in length based on client language so it's not uncommon for the fight to start with you still in cutscene. Some bosses are already half dead by the time some players get out of cutscene. Plus hearing the sound of Gaius fighting in the background while he's still giving his speech is daft. Same with Lahabread but that fight was always a bit of a lame duck.

This all makes an awkward delivery of the story finale for new players who should be the focus here, imo. They're the reason this roulette exists at all. A solo or trust version will go at the pace of the player doing it for the story (and if they don't care at all they can just skip) and be a little better tuned to actually be more in line with other MSQ duties. I'd actually like if Cape Westwood got similar treatment. That was a fun fight (if not all that hard) back in the day and now I just feel bad for Rhitatyn.

Us vets will survive without our roulette, it's not as if other avenues of gaining experience and tomes are all that hard, after all.

Beyond that what we currently have is the best solution for reasons already given multiple times in this thread and the many others on the subject.
