    The only defence of this crap content—and *is* crap content, that's why they elected to make it a one-off—is that it's optional. Having to bribe veterans into doing said content with exorbitant rewards might sit well with you, and that's cool, but I'd rather not have crap content in the game, so I'd be fine with SE replacing it with a streamlined solo duty version.

    I missed them my first time through as well. Then, when they became unskippable, I realised that I hadn't missed much of anything (and that's coming from a player who focuses on lore & story). It's a badly designed section of the game—that is still confusing as all get-out unless you know it sideways and back to front—with a badly-told story that you're better off reading about. It only serves as a reminder of how much the game has evolved since 2.0, at least in regard to the way it delivers its story.
