I had lots of multiple people come up to me and do emotes lol...
But first thing that surprised me as being from Melmond... there were actually some people in Gridania and Limsa... lol

Oh and checking the 2CH Aegis thread, JP guys all b&$*$ing NA players talking in shouts again... orz lol
Just ignore them they'll get used to it... try and get used to using /tell or /say and keep the shouts mainly to party/event/raid
