One dungeon per patch!?

I'm still waiting to see what benefit there was in deleting the second dungeon in every other patch....

They've added a new difficulty mode for Trials. That's why they scrapped 1 dungeon from the patches so they have more time to invest in the trial development.

There's only going to be one dungeon per patch going forward. Down from the 2 and 1 method in Stormblood and the 2 every patch in Heavensward.

In fairness, it usually is a 1 dungeon roulette even now with four in it. When I do run it, it's 96% Grand Cosmos, 4% Amourot. Though I do still wish they kept more options rather than limit them down.

Wait, I was under the impression we just weren't getting two dungeons this patch because they were adding an extra trial to take the place of the second dungeon. Where did I miss them saying that they were only doing one dungeon every patch from this point on?

Having more variety in my daily EX roulette isn't as important to me as having a wider variety of things to do once I've done my daily EX roulette.
