    [Request] Please bring back fall damage in PvE content!

    For those not in the know, certain dungeons with long falls used to bring every member of the group down to a single point of health, requiring the healer to mend the group's wounds before proceeding further.

    A while back it was changed so that fall damage was negated, though I would like to see the change reversed to ensure that dungeon runs are more immersive and enjoyable.

    Healers have lost so much over the years and it's a real shame that they lost the opportunity to heal their groups after a nasty fall.

    Nah, it wasn't really immersive. It didn't kill you from falling 40 feet. More of an annoyance than anything in dungeons. Especially since sometimes jump pads in T3 could straight up kill you for using them.

    It's actually possible for people to survive a fall from a great height, though. Not without injury - but that was reflected by the fall damage.

    Your character eats massive lasers/heat beams to the face and doesn't even feel it. fall damage is not immersive with that fact.

    Fall damage in PvE really wasn't meaningful and would just add an annoying recovery time after the huge drops in places like Bardam's Mettle or Saint Moccaine's Arboretum.

    As someone who falls to his death in other MMOs pretty regularly, I agree. If they are going to do it, then they need to go all the way with it.

    Agreed. I want people to die when they fall from great heights like in half of the trials. An example would be that naked tiger man, forgot his name. The one where you skydive.

    With some of the falls, if you aimed for specific platforms and rocks, you wouldn't take much damage at all. People didn't do this though, as it took slightly longer XD

    Feels like the WoL is too anime to be taking fall damage at all. Even if we are willing to accept DRG jumps have some of the energy transferred into the lance and in turn into whatever she is thrusting, that is still a massive sudden deceleration that would be fatal given her momentum. Therefore I am convinced the WoL shouldn't be impacted by falls at all. It is hilarious how much of a wimp she can be when you take fall damage as even carrying 30+ kgs of military equipment a lot of our soldiers would manage better, though still not recommended.
