    Not sure what you mean with the saber dance thing. However my reasoning for upgrading Fan Dance 1 to Fan Dance 3 is that I think we will get a Fan Dance 4 (basically an upgrade to Fan Dance 2) next expansion. They could always make Fan Dance 3 single target an deal more damage to accommodate this. Also RDM doesn't seem to have that much of a problem with AoE and it's AoEs are exactly how I would want DNCs. I doubt SE will ever change DNC AoE but that is how I would want them.

    So on the one-hand, I'm not one of those players upset about BLU being made into a Limited Job. On the other, if they REALLY wanted to make it a Full Job, it isn't outside the realm of possibility.

    So, I'd start by making BLU a tank. "Why a tank, and not a caster?" Well, there are two components to the classical Blue Mage: copying enemy abilities by witnessing them (the focal point of the limited job), and being hit by enemy abilities in order to gain their power. Now, "witnessing abilities to copy them" is easily justified by locking some abilities behind job quests where you encounter those enemies; we've already spun around that limitation with the Whalaqi totems anyway.
    The core mechanic of BLU Tanking in this case would be adaptation: Every time the enemy hits you with a certain type of attack, you learn from it and develop a defense against it, possibly even charging up a Reflect-esque skill to "copy" the attack and send it back, or dealing damage based on health missing immediately after an attack.
    You would of course also have classic skills like Mighty Guard, Vampire and White Wind for self-sustain and off-tank support. Several abilities that are currently "gimmicks" like Bad Breath, Mind Blast or Missile could similarly be adapted as just basic parts of the rotation, like DoTs, AoEs and combo attacks.

    I would like RDM to actually chainspell instead of just dualcasting. something more along the lines of having a 3 spell chain of white or black magic with a holy or flare finisher. That does leave the problem of what to do with the melee element of the job, which I have no real ideas on, maybe keep the short combo or change it to something else.

    In general: Mostly adding situational abilities, emergency abilities, effective status effects, crowd control abilities, and raising the skill cieling so that players can set personal challenges like defeating lv50 area-bosses with a lv30 job. Basically, being ableto pull run-saving stunts like PLD, or BRD previously, which were super easy to do

    BRD: Reworking the song gauge as a resource, giving AA a numerical cost and launch the targets into the air, increase SG to 200-250, adding more healing support and curse songs, setting a goal to singing, exchanging QK's aoe radius with a larger circle aoe and giving it Wide Volley's (WV) range, Changing WV into an oGCD aoe that would deal multiple low dmg hits (5-15 hits per target randomly) that would cost SG, a song to generate SG points, a working haste for armies, mp restoration in ballad ties to procs and PP (perfect pitch), a 7-12 sec safety time (if the song plays entirely the timer will start to keep the singing buff active even after the song (wm, ap, mb) has ended, which gives players a breather, just in case), change Warden's into an aoe with a reduced cool down, changing Minne into an all-effect ability w/ a small stackable shield, using a combination of crit scaling and the current 30% guaranteed chance to proc (because manipulating that is super fun), et cetera and some more stuff that I've like reposted and stuff

    Remove positionals.
    Huton becomes a passive.
    Turn Trick Attack in to a one minute cooldown attack.
    Make Suiton apply a DoT.
    Upgrade Hyoton/Katon in to their Kassatsu versions permanently once you reach high enough level.
    Turn Kassatsu back to it's old version (auto crit).
    Remove Shadow Fang/Armor Crush.
    New animations for the base weapon skill combo that are more... Ninja-like if that makes sense.
    Weapon skills no longer cause bunny on Mudra cast.
    Messing up your Mudra combo (if your finger slips or whatever) causes the chain to reset and the bunny effect can no longer happen.
    Make the little Mudra bunny a separate emote.
    Let me decide which Mudras to use during Ten Chi Jin, I liked being able to do Shuriken/Katon/Doton during trash pulls. I'm not a fan of being locked in to Shuriken/Rai/Sui. Also, make the Ten Chi Jin have a 1 min CD with the DoT from Sui above lasting 60 seconds.

    That would make Ninja perfect to play as far as I'm concerned.

    if i had to remake jobs i would do something like this:

    SMN-would make SMN be egi/summon themed. i would keep the 3 summons types.make the egis work a little bit like demi with making them attack whenever the summoner attack while still being permanent on the field.
    allow the summon skill to be edited with a UI window so u could egi glamour to different primals.
    i would keep egi assaults and enkindle.
    make aetherflow skills that empower the pets like empower the next attack,apply a certain buff to summoner based on what egi is outside for a few seconds or even for trances.
    i would make DWT/FBT use aetherflow as a cost and rework DWT to change ruin 3 and outburst like FBT does.
    i would seperate summon firebird with FBT making the trance one button and its summon tied to summon bahamut button.
    make bahamut apply a buff when summoned like phoenix apply a hot when summoned.
    lastly i would add a new trance and gauge that the egi would build from his attacks and once it is filled, the summoner could enter that trance and his egi would be changed to demi form and his ruin 3 and outburst would change based on what egi is out.

    white mage- i would give him his themed spells ,protect,shell,reflect,dispel and make him more of an enchanter mage.
    make his conjurer part be able to diverge between white mage and probably geomancer(DPS path) if we ever get one.
    make holy his signature ultimate attack instead of his stun aoe spell and keep his theme of using healing to improve dps and add dps skills improve his healing utility like speed up his gauge or grant an extra heal potency buff.(i would still keep the stun aoe skill but just named it something else like banish instead of holy)
    i would keep stone and aero as direct evolutions and not change to glare/dia as direct evolution but instead give white mage a white magic form that will change stone/aero to glare and dia and increase his healing potencies.
    lastly make fluid aura turn to a skill like a bind target and hot aoe like asylum or make fluid aura be an extra dps skill from time to time.

    SCH-keep his ACN skills,make the fairy also have egi assaults skills.SCH attacks will have a status effect to them like broil apply burn damage,ruin 2 will have a chance to proc ruination debuff,have more dots with different status effects like paralysis,blind,slow,heavy.... ,keep his aetherflow skills as they are giving access to more powerful healing spells.change the aetherpack skill to be an enkindle like skill that is availble when the fairy gauge is 100% and keep skills that will help scholar boost his healing spells like recitation,emergency tactics and deployment tactics.
