The e-mail can show up in your junk folder, even if all other SE related emails (such as transaction confirmation from the mogstation), will show up normally.

Just noticed this today with my husband's house. Luckily it was only a day old, so the house wasn't lost (first time it's been an issue, likely from all the holiday away time).

Be sure to remind others to check their timers, and their e-mails and junk mail, just to be safe!

Interact with something inside the house like a retainer or sell random items to NPCs in the house. Not 100% sure if just going inside the house by itself is enough to reset the timer.

Just stepping inside your home is enough to reset the timer.

It is literally entering your house. You get text printed across the middle of your screen that the demolition timer has been removed.

Because they're sitting on a lot of gil, they want to be able to spend it and there's nothing else of major value to spend it on.

You both seemed to miss the part where I mentioned that this happened from the time spent away do to the holidays. It's literally never been a problem for either of us previously, and this last holiday season had been exceptionally busy for us. Life happens, doesn't mean the house isn't getting used the majority of the time. Just figured I would send a friendly reminder to others that might have been in a similar situation.

I bought some gold saucer minigame furniture so the "interaction" will be more solid i can play punch the dummy, free throw practice, an hammer game, inside the house.
