Please Devs, Add Crystarium housing!

since there isn't really anything in relation to the story that stops a special house from being constructed for the Warrior of Darkness as a gesture of good will for not only saving the First but continuing to work towards keeping it safe.

Why would you want a home on the First when your friends, family, and ultimate duty are on the Source? Why would you isolate yourself on the First when those who depend on you on the Source are unable to contact you when needed?

If it's style you want, SE can always add in more Crystarium themed furnishings and a Crystarium inspired exterior skin. But a housing district on the First makes no sense until the main story arc of the game is completed and the Warrior of Light is no longer needed. At that point, sure. Let the Warrior of Light retire to the First so he/she can fade into legend on the Source.

there are no other adventurers on the first other than "you". so there's no need for housing for "you".

There are adventurers on the First, mostly met through the role quests. There just isn't a formal Adventurers' Guild like on the Source, unless one counts Clan Nutsy.

Hopefully the story connects the Source and First somehow so that regular folk can travel between both and then there's even less excuse for there to not be a housing district.

Don't forget the time differential. Right now the Source and the First are "aligned" somewhat, but eventually the pendulum will swing the other way and the time dilation effect will cause a great discrepancy between the two.

This is why I expect that we will "Lore Wise" not be able to return to the First after the end of Shadowbringers. While we will be able to go back in game, story wise, after we leave, were gone. I do expect to see a compromise though where we will be able to build Crystarium themed houses on the Source.

Our suite at the Pendants technically is personal housing according to the story. We don't get to decorate it, but it is ours long-term and not just renting a room at the inn.

Does lore really matter when the devs decided to completely overwrite the lore for Astrologian?

If you mean the cards, that "complete overwrite" resulted in a minor change to how two of the cards are described, leaving the other four untouched, and the removal of Leveva's instructions on when to use each one during the initial battle sequence. They're still having the same lore-effect of empowering the person in various ways, just all translating to the battle system as an increase to strength rather than other attributes.

The Crystarium is my favorite city/hub in game and I would buy a house/apartment there in a heartbeat. I don't RP or care much about the lore of the place myself, so 'isolating' myself on the first means absolutely nothing to me. For those who are into that, I'm sure they could easily create some story as to why the housing is being expanded in the First if they want to go that route.

I think the bigger lore-breaker is a new player joining an FC who have an estate on the First, visiting their plot before reaching the point in the msq that the Exarch pulls you into the First.
When you reach the 5.0 story it's like actually I've been to this world hundreds of times already to water my garden. This is normal.

Even leaving the lore aside, we're only getting to see Ishgard housing in 6.0 and it's been...how many years since HW came out? I expect if we ever get to see housing on the prime at all, it won't be for several years from now.

I'd love that, but doubt it will happen for many reasons, lore and such.

That being said, I hope we'll get more furnitures and perhaps a housing exterior skin. Some garden furnitures would be nice, like those big purple-ish trees. I'd love to have them in my garden!
