Launcher suddenly closes when checking for updates after reinstall

Recently had computer problems that required me to reinstall Windows 10 and now when I reinstall FFXIV and choose "I currently possess a Square Enix account" and login, I reach the "Registration Complete" page and click next to update.

Then the traditional launcher opens, "Checking Final Fantasy XIV" and then just closes abruptly with no crash log outside of what I pull from my Event Viewer on Windows

"Faulting application name: ffxivlauncher.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5df72b6e
Faulting module name: jscript9.dll, version: 11.0.18362.356, time stamp: 0x648203f0

I've tried reinstalling FFXIV to no luck as well.

Launching FFXIV again just repeats the same issue

You can actually close this now as I figured it out myself!

Apparently my jscript9.dll files were corrupt even after running sfc /scannow in my command prompts

running Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and then sfc /scannow fixed them and allowed my launcher to begin updating
