why do you have crafting and gathering skills plus other pointless things on your combat hotbar?Sprint doesn't increase damage and my 4 (four!!!!!) hotbars are already full. I don't have space to put sprint on my overloaded hotbar. I suspect many players are in the same position as me. Between increasing my DPS with a useful damage ability or sprint, I think I will always go with the former.
Because I also craft and gather, so I put them on my hotbars so I can craft or gather. Please don't call them pointless some people really enjoy crafting. It may seem pointless but it's very fun to some players. Not everything is about combat.
Just a force of habit for me
yeah HW was many years ago sprint has changed and now theres not even TP but sprint isn't always on my mind when in a dungeon or duty
I use it when i remember too
Not gonna lie, kinda hate how sprint is a buff that has a cool down. always felt silly how your character basically just ran out of tp, even if you didn't move.
too used to "hold to sprint" stamina based sprint systems i suppose.
I'll perform my rotation almost flawlessly because expertise and big numbers are fun for me. I don't particularly care about shaving seconds off the end time, though. I'm not in a hurry and not trying to set some speed record. If that's a deal breaker, meh, kick me, no hard feelings. I can near guarantee you whoever replaces me and my non-sprinting queue BFF are going to be an overall downgrade, but if sprint is the hill you choose to die on, that's the dying part.
Edit: Y'all acting like sprinting puts you literal minutes ahead from pack to pack when I get there maybe a second and a half later. I'm just not going to stress out about a second and a half. If anything, it makes me laugh that you are. Literally nothing you can possibly say could ever make me care about a second and a half.
You asked, you got your answer.

Not to be rude, but people who do big numbers and execute things well don't usually flat out refuse to use their tools keep up with the rest of the party. Like i don't care enough to kick you so long as it doesn't become an issue, but simultaneously bragging about how hot your dps is, is not a good look.I'll perform my rotation almost flawlessly because expertise and big numbers are fun for me. I can pull up literally any screenshot with visible hotbars and know exactly what's on my = key
This is your do not die button, he helps you relax
What is this "Sprint" you speak of? I know not of what it is, for I am always where I need to be ahead of time! Slight joking aside, ranged and healers don't really need it (outside of EX and Savage) due to not needing to stand close to anything and being able to position ahead of time. Even moves where you can only position after a previous one has gone off are easy to do without Sprint (unless it's EX or Savage). Melee and tanks don't really need it that much either (again, unless it's EX or Savage) due to how insanely easy a lot of things are to dodge. EX and Savage...yeah, you need it regardless of job, put it on, keep it on, praise its existence.
Do you have any idea just how many times I've taken an arrow to the knee while tanking?
