Retainer Quick ventures

Im doing quick ventures whit my retainers lvl80 and I always get the message:


''Your retainer's current gear should improve chances of finding rare items.''


My DoL are geared whit best gear available atm 460/430 ilvl and my DoW are ilvl460+ but still get always this message.


Whats the stats/ilvl i need to get in order to not get this message again (and probably better loot)?

Idk, but out of like 100 ventures, none item they came whit was worth more than 5k gil, and normally is untradeable gear ilvl250-350

I always thought that message meant they already *were* geared enough to get the better loot. Otherwise there's a different message something along the lines of "they'd bring back better loot with better gear."

As far as I know, the loot table for quick ventures is huge and mostly full of junk. I've gotten a few valuable minions and rare dyes out of them, though. And a LOT of furniture...

That's how I read it too. Bad result can still happen.

5k is generous considering the effort involved in sending them out on missions takes all of 2 seconds.

Even so, mine occasionally bring back items worth 50~80k (usually in the form of rare furniture), and more often than I expected: dyes - if I'm very lucky, black and white.

But yea, most of the time you're going to get augmented poetic gear and a merlthor goby.

If you don't want to gamble, don't use quick ventures. That's what they are. The other types of ventures are there if you want consistent money.

What my message means is that to think that 5k for a venture is worth it is to settle for crumbs. I don't know, it's not that hard to read the messages before answering them.

And it is. Because it's a gamble. You can get much higher than 5k. Or you can get 5k.
