    According to what I understand from the NPC it's a replacement egg for any of the other unique eggs. I may be wrong though.

    That's all I've found a use for the motley egg. If you watch the fireworks and trade a fancy egg + the colors in the sky you get super sekrit itams (i got 3 hi-potions of int).

    Can't find any way to get Chocobo Egg Hat. Tried Motley + 11111. And Motley + Firework colors. Other fancy + 1111 and firework colors. No go .

    I'm rather fond of spreadsheets and keeping data organized, so I went ahead and created a Google Doc that's editable to the public.
