It makes complete sense. I'll have you know my sun hat bikini glam on a tank gives me the same amount of protection as my gunbreaker in an armor glam. We are living in a simulation, and the perceived "armor" offers the exact same amount of protection as a bikini.

To be honest, that's one of the least immersion breaking examples. It just looks like a costume, something a jester or performer might wear. Sure, it's silly, but not outside the realms of plausibility.

Another angle, why not have prisms that function like the actual 'magic glamour' some enemies employ on Leves for example? You could be whatever type of enemy for 30 mins as an example, with your attacks and what not being replaced by random animations that enemy does. Just an idea.
