Dragoon questions from noob

I just hit level 61 and have some questions regarding a few of my skills.

I cant seem to get Fang and Claw, Wheeling Thrust or Geirskogul to work at all. I understand that Blood of the Dragon activates them, but everytime i do BotD it doesnt help. I have tried all kinds of different ways to figure out what the problem is, from hitting dummys, to watching YouTube vids.

With BotD on, as you do your combo, Full Thrust or Chaos Thrus will give you buffs allowing you to use your FaC and WT skills.
Geirskogul should be available right away as you use BotD.


This is assuming you aren't in a duty where you've level synced under learning these skills.

I am not in a duty, out in the open world. This is exactly what I am doing. Do i turn on BotD first before the combo or after? I have tried it both ways.

Which combo? It is still not working, i have no idea what i am doing wrong.

I figured out what was wrong. I never went and "unlocked" the skills even though I'm level 62
