Child-like characters?

You can pretend she's older all you like but she's portrayed as a pre-teen in the story and in form.

Huh? She looks and acts like a teenager. As a poster said above, I'd guess around 16.

I think it might have to do with the graphics or something, because the images I linked don't even look like they are taken in the same decade.

In-game Thancred looks like he is in his early twenties, which would make sense for 1.0 and ARR, but in ShB Thancred is at least ten years older than he was in 1.0 (ARR takes place five years after the end of 1.0, and Thancred spends five years on Norvrandt). Guess they didn't want to make a new ingame face for him, which is odd considering the other ShB characters (Urianger, Y'shotla, Ryne) are consistent in their appearance in both the game and in the cinematic.
