I don't think my squadron even has the mental capacity to like or dislike anything. I have to tell them what to do at all times and pray I don't die.A child that became a captain on it's GC, defeats high ranked people from the empire that no one else can hurt, kills gods and ancient beings, destroys alien robots, liberates nations, and travels to another world to save it. yeah, who would like to receive order from someone like that XD

Well, at least there's no doubt our squadron follow our commands. Hell, i havent been with them in weeks, and i'm sure they are still there, awaiting for me to finish the trainig i asked them to do XD

It'd be pretty demoralising, if you think about it.A child that became a captain on it's GC, defeats high ranked people from the empire that no one else can hurt, kills gods and ancient beings, destroys alien robots, liberates nations, and travels to another world to save it. yeah, who would like to receive order from someone like that XD

This actually raises another interesting point which no one has yet to mention: children age. Well, all people age, but after reaching adulthood the physical changes are much slower and less noticeable. I couldn't find a timeline of the events in the MSQ so far, but considering how much has happened it must have taken quite some time. Pretty much every patch seems to end with a "there's nothing now, please return later". There was the trip to Kugane which I recall took a month or two. All kinds of bureaucracy between nations that just doesn't happen instantly. If the WoL was in their early teens at the start of the story, how would you justify them not growing up during it? For that matter, how do Alphinaud and Alisaie look exactly like they did in 2.0 (aside from receiving new outfits)?A child that became a captain on it's GC, defeats high ranked people from the empire that no one else can hurt, kills gods and ancient beings, destroys alien robots, liberates nations, and travels to another world to save it. yeah, who would like to receive order from someone like that XD
The lorebook noted that Elezen have longer lifespans then Hyurs and also age slower as a side-effect with their puberty happening in their 20s as opposed to the teens.
That said, I think Alphinaud and Alisaie are unlikely to change much by the end of the game's lifespan.

Because... emm.... you know....... M-Mommy Crystal blessing!!!This actually raises another interesting point which no one has yet to mention: children age. Isn't that like pretty much the whole plot of Naruto, and tons of other anime?A child that became a captain on it's GC, defeats high ranked people from the empire that no one else can hurt, kills gods and ancient beings, destroys alien robots, liberates nations, and travels to another world to save it. yeah, who would like to receive order from someone like that XD

Sharlayan archons have their age locked at whenever it is they became an archon. It was first mentioned in 1.0 but only rarely comes up now. I remember it being mentioned at the end of Stormblood and a passing mention in the lore book. Must suck for Matoya though, being old forever.Thancred is 32 but apparently there's some lore somewhere about Sharlayans using enchantments to look younger than they really are - I'm not sure about the source of that, but it's consistent with him suddenly looking noticeably older at the point where he loses the ability to use magic. Because he's not in his real body currently on the First, apparently he reverted to his preferred appearance (however exactly that worked).
Back on topic, I don’t understand why people want to play a minor or why this topic keeps coming up but it’s kinda creepy. Especially with how many times WoL gets flirted with and everything else that happens.
