Respec....maybe?

Let me start off by saying that one of the main reasons I started playing XIV not to long ago was the fact that I saw they were implementing PLD and WHM/PLD were the jobs I loved from XI. Now when I started playing I had no idea how the stats worked and was just going off instinct and dropped all my points into VIT/DEX.... I know, I know, this would work in a normal game but wasn't thinking in SE logic. Now comes 1.21a and we can respec and was thinking of going MND/STR like the almighty SE god's say are GLD/PLD's main stats. Not going to get into the whole WAR vs PLD, both are good for different situations (MNK burn with aoe Rampart = Hateraid) and I'll leave it at that. Has anyone gone with the MND/STR build from the start or respeced into that set up?

I haven't used my respec yet. I'm still in a VIT/MND build from when I used my GLA as a makeshift PLD back in the day. Any light that could be shed on better builds would be most welcome.

I imagine the damage output would be higher with such a spec. (at least on weapon skills).

I personally split my points evenly +9 to everything but INT.

PLD seems like it benefits from every stat, but nothing is too spectacular. Once stat's change (read: become useful) I'll use my respec to go to the optimal build.
