Give Highlanders eyebrows already

I think it's just probably system/ coding limitations at this point. They'd have to sacrifice a facial feature in order (a scar option maybe?) for them to make a toggleable eyebrow like with the male Au Ra.

But knowing SE, they'd double down on the lore reasoning why they lack eyebrows if somebody asks them to give Highlanders eyebrows. Funny how even the Highlander-equivalent on the 1st Shard seem to share the same lore.

That's the thing, they don't need to sacrifice anything. There IS an option to change the shape of your brow...there's just no hair. Literally, all it would be is a quick and easy texture job.

In general I'd love to see a huge pass on character customization after they iron out technical issues. Any excuse about how something should be rare or disobeys the bulk of how a race is in the lore is irrelevant. It was irrelevant from 2.0, nevermind now with all the Sun Cat Boys, Viera, Hrothgar running around.

Want to see padjal horns for midlanders. Eyebrows for highlander neb. The ability to separate face and horns for au ra. Muscle definition sliders for more people. None of these things I want to see apply to my character, and I am not so arrogant as to feel the character creation for someone else should be limited to how I see fit.

why is this even a thread? the game can't render eyebrows because it takes up too much processing power

Honestly if we're bound to use the face paint it could at least use a little polishing, make it look like actual painted eyebrows, not 2 smeary brush swipes over the eyes.

[Also I'm going to take a wild guess and say since it's such a uhh...petty change and SE is aware mods exist, they're just pretending anyone who wants brows is already using it, so why bother wasting actual resources in it (?)]

Adding highlander eyebrows and midlander beards would shatter the entire game. There's just not enough resources to make up for it
